Ein Bericht für eine Akademie
—Franz Kafka
MAR 2021
The process of reading, as well as listening to music, creates a sense of a wider mental reality. With the active reading of a book and active listening to music, an altered mental state arises in consciousness, emanating from a resonating interaction through the medium. The theoretical power of resonance theory lies in overcoming identity and difference. Emotional, cognitive and physical reactions are triggered by the experience of reading and listening to music. The text exists as a print, further it’s linguistically performed and interpreted as a musical composition.
