WER NICHT DENKEN WILL FLIEGT RAUS
WHO DOES NOT WANT TO THINK IS KICKED OUT
With the statement ‘Wer nicht denken will fliegt raus’ (1977), Joseph Beuys formulated a doctrine that should be the base on any artistic debate; both in the production, as well as in the reception of art. The work refers to this statement, the arrangement of the images creates a dynamic space between impression and expression, subjectivity and objectivity. A dialogue develops between the book and the reader, which describes a subjective story that depends on cognitive and emotional values.
